The Annual Meeting at the start of the school year accounts for the budget, proposed budget and performance of the Chapter; also agree any changes in Leadership Group members and commission up to eight Chapter Delegates to CUK Council, plus account of their work in the previous year.
The Annual Meeting is also a forum for hearing about issues of social injustice which individuals are currently experiencing in MK. The aim is to bring these issues to the attention of our members so they may find out more about them in listening campaigns within their institutions. Members of the public are welcome to attend and hear a series 3-5 minute testimonies from 5-6 individuals who have personally experienced some form of social injustice in MK. There is no requirement for those present to take any further action the hearing. The hope is simply that, better informed about issues as they are personally experienced, the leaders of our member institutions may be moved to think differently and may plan to take actions to reduce or remove an issue.
